    He is just a good basketball player. While he is a good defender he may not blow you away on either end, but he does a lot of things at a solid level.

    We have like a +30 net rating in the 3rd quarter of the past 15 games or so. For the season we are the best by like 1 in net rating.

    It's big to close the gap going into halftime. The Suns are the best 3rd quarter team in the league and will now have a chance to potentially take over in the next quarter.

    Keep in mind that he has spent the last two years on a team that was packed in the frontcourt and most of them are much younger than Young. When he has gotten minutes the last couple years he has produced.

    Sure, but as I said Ayton's biggest issue is consistently playing with effort and it doesn't appear anything other than playing for a contract was able to get him to play with effort. Not sure they could have relied on anyone to get him to consistently play with effort.

    I just want to point out that Brandon Knight averaged nearly 20/5 at one point and he was never a good player. A guy putting up the numbers Hayes did on that bad of a team doesn't mean much of anything.

    They clearly have no confidence in using Little, so trading him for a guy that will almost certainly make the main rotation makes us a better team. Maybe not the on court impact that Miles Bridges could have provided, but helps nonetheless.

    I have to imagine a move is coming. Considering it appears they are exploring trading for Miles Bridges (of all people) tells me that they know they need to do something. Now will it be a move that does much of anything to move the needle? Not a great chance of that unless it is for Miles.

    Of course that strategy does allow him to get momentum going towards the rim. I'd be curious to see how effective his style of play would have been in like the 90s with far less spacing. He is nearly unstoppable with the current spacing in the NBA.
