    It's obviously impressive that he is this efficient with as poor the quality of his looks are, but it is concerning that we haven't been able to get him some better looks.

    When you are completely stacked at a position that the BPA belongs to than you trade out of the spot IMO. Of course this is not really a factor with Hali as we were not stacked at PG when we passed on him.

    He had a handful of these performances after the trade last season. It's too bad he can't find that assertiveness more consistently because he could easily average 27+ if he did.

    I completely disagree here. Most blocks are of shots that would have essentially been a guaranteed bucket had they not been blocked (layups, dunks, floaters near the basket). Even a block out of bounds or into the hands of another player on the other team is likely to lead to a lower percentage...

    Have to feel like it is becoming a self fulfilling prophecy to some extent. Scott Foster is so far inside CP's head at this point. Have to wonder, did CP get tossed because Foster hates him or did CP go overboard because he hates Foster?

    You don't score 31 points per game on 65% true shooting while being used improperly. The shots he is taking is largely who he is as a player and largely who he has to be because of the attention he garners from the other team. They even leave Booker to double KD. That should tell you everything...

    Yeah, it's tough to say he isn't being utilized effectively when he is averaging 31 points on 65% true shooting.

    Gonna be the same with MVP voting. Book and KD will cancel each other out to an extent. Though Sabonis averaged 28/13/7 the past week and that didn't stop his teammate from getting the award so. :shrug:

    I think cohesion is far and away the biggest issue at the moment. Just look at the amount of times two players start running to the same assignment. Some of it is probably communication, but that also comes with cohesion. All it takes at this level to get beat is as little as a slight hesitation...

    I think you are looking at it wrong if you think he was the guy they were holding out for. I think they just didn't want to go into the season with Ayton still hanging over their head and took the best deal they could get. As far as I can tell Nurkic and Allen will have a bigger impact for this...

    I'm not nearly as worried of that happening when we have Book. Gives us two guys that can just get a bucket when one is needed and Book is probably our best at that.
