    The rule that makes it illegal to swat a live ball out of bounds. Why is this a rule? Just mark the ball where the team that had last possession down at where ever the ball was swatted from.

    OT: RIP Roman Gabriel

    He is responsible for one of my worst football memories. He hooked up with Harold Carmichael and Don Zimmerman to rally the Eagles past the Cards 27-24, the latter on the last play of the game, IIRC. That loss stuck with me until 2001 when we beat the Eagles in 2001 on a similar fashion.
