    I love this board. Growing up just outside Philly, I would have no one to commiserate with after a tough loss. Until I found Cards Corner(now defunct) on AoL and now this board. I appreciate all of you.

    1988 Phoenix Cardinals

    That season I remember listening to the football scores on the radio at work(KYW 1060 in Philadelphia) and being pumped up that they beat the Giants in their first match up that year. Then became unpumped when I saw in the USA Today the next morning that Lomax had taken a serious hip injury.

    Maybe its because the Cards have rarely been good, I've always been all in on these leagues that spring up; USFL, WLAF, and XFL. Never cared for arena type football, though.

    Sad news. Kwamie was actually a member of the old Cards Corner on AOL and posted several times. That 4 INT game stands out the most for me, but I also recall a pick he had at Washington the same season that prevented a massive comeback by the Redskins against us.

    Simeon Rice was on the 3-13 team, the next year Leonard Davis was our first round pick. We got Rice following a 4-12 season in 1995.
