    '85 was a huge let down. They started out pretty strong with a 3-1 record, but a Monday Night thrashing by the Redskins later that year was the writing on the wall for me.

    When Jake Plummer took a knee at the Dallas 2 yard line to end the game in the '98 playoffs. I was so certain they would choke that game away, even with seconds left and up by 2 scores.

    I'm glad for the Suns, but I've been a fan of the Milwaukee Bucks since '73, just not long enough to see their lone championship season. I don't have a good feeling for them now.

    I recall you from the old Cards Corner on AoL, Garthshort. It is hard to believe I joined that 24 years ago(as MarcusNer). I recall Skkorp, Jeff Gollin, Tim(AzCardswin?), Zeno, Rhyno and J Holt(John H), who hasn't posted here since early '20. I hope he's ok, I know he was getting up there.

    Yeah, the way the schedule was set up really hurt. We only had 4 days before a trip to Seattle to enjoy the good vibes of this game, and then Kyler gets dinged early in that game.

    I'll never forgive Aaron Francisco for falling down there. Before that down was the closest I ever felt that the Cards were finally winning it all; afterward it was like the writing was on the wall. Remember Francisco catching a tipped ball against the Eagles for an interception the game before...
