    There are no available players that are obviously better than him. I think there is a lot of value in continuity. It would be smart for the Suns to keep him on the team.

    Suns are now 32-27. At this point last year they were 49-10. The best record in the NBA right now is 41-17.

    Crowder was a more dangerous shooter attempted more 3's per game and attracted more defensive attention, Craig gets more open looks. Also Crowder was a much better passer. Crowder's team defense and versatility was much better than craigs, it shows up pretty clearly in the defensive ratings.

    I think Craig is not nearly as good as Crowder on defense or offense. His offensive rebounding is better, but that might just be a change in the Suns strategy this year.

    He's a good scorer. He plays kind of like TJ Warren where it looks like he's just out there trying to score and not really playing team ball, similar to Jordan Clarkson or Norman Powell. I think its good to have players like that as long as you're not depending on them to contribute every game.

    I think the biggest problem is that his defense is actually kind of inconsistent. His offense is limited, but if he could be a consistently high impact defender he'd be really good. His shooting isn't that good but he does enough other stuff on offense that his shooting wouldn't matter that much.

    Also, I initially brought up this point because it was insinuated that the Nets didn't win a championship because of Durant's injury history. Yet the Nets skeptics seem to agree that that teams failures were more a result of Irving's and Harden's behavior.

    I partially agree with this sentiment. Would've been cool to see the Suns win with Bridges and Johnson who were easy to root for and not front runners like Durant. With Durant, and Paul, the narrative becomes more focused on them and their legacies and less on the Suns as a team.
