New Defensive Assistant Coach Patrick Toney (age 32)

In an odd way, I am actually smiling at our coach getting who he wants despite age while Sean Payton seems to be grasping at second and third choices because apparently the rest of the NFL does not think he is the reincarnation of Jimmy Johnson :)

Sorry, I have seen a ton of people in different fields talk a good game but when the bullets fly hardly are able to hold on to a sentence which they wanted to define them... see politicians as a reference :)

New Defensive Assistant Coach Patrick Toney (age 32)

Don't get me wrong, I will be supporting these coaches. That Kool Aid part of me will give them second and third chances, but this overall age of this staff does not bode well for my confidence and hopefully I am wrong like I was about Leinart and Rosen lol

Of course, meaning I do not hold that much credence to a press conference... especially with no games to back any stance

New Defensive Assistant Coach Patrick Toney (age 32)

BTW, I am all for giving a young guy a chance. I am all for giving a young guy a chance at coaching or being the GM. I am all for freaking out when the entire front office is hovering around the age which a current player might see no seniority or even less actual experience in an Alpha Male sport

    Pressers do not win games

New Defensive Assistant Coach Patrick Toney (age 32)

The NFL at the end of the day is about money and one attains money through winning. Now the quote 'good ole body' fraternity still exists but there is a reason older coaches still keep getting chances and that is because experience does matter unless a young guy is a McVay wonderkid... I do not...

I do not hate it, but I am absolutely apprehensive. Alright, to be frank it is scaring the hell out of me, but just putting blind faith in the coach and GM that there is a method to this youth madness which is in the extremes all the way around... if this hiring approach does not scare you, oh well

Daniel Jeremiah has the Cardinals taking Tyree Wilson over Will Anderson

Never trust a guy with two first names

Baker Mayfield makes more sense than Minshew.

The 'friends' part is actually something I do not like about bringing in Baker Mayfield. Mentally, Kyler needs to move on past his college years, and have a different mindset. Kyler needs to become a pro, listening to another pro because that is his job to get better and not because they are ole...

Baker Mayfield makes more sense than Minshew.

It is good drafting a guy in say round four to develop, but that guy would not be a proper stopgap. No matter how unrealistic it might seem to be in playoff contention, one is looking for a guy who can win you some games before Kyler is able to play. A veteran player like Brisset under an OC he...

Baker Mayfield makes more sense than Minshew.

All would work and Baker is not the ego freak people put him out to be. Does he have an ego? Sure, or you better never line up under center in this league. I am seeing Carr might have Carolina as an option. Not suggesting Carr because he has too much long term starter possibility status to take...

Expect Jacoby Brissett to be game 1 starter

Minshew would be like Jake Plummer's character 2.0

Expect Jacoby Brissett to be game 1 starter

One of the riddles from "The Hobbit" which never made the cut when Tolkien was doing the riddle game between Gollum and Bilbo... actually, he was tempted to use this one opposed to the famous "what do I have in my pocket?" which causes Gollum to go into hysterics because it's not fair and...

I would be shocked if BBQ Brisket was not our QB to start the season, and I am totally in favor of that :raccoon:

Cards hire Drew Petzing as their OC

You sound like that guy in a horror flick who goes, "not sure what's going on here, but I don't like it one bit" lol

Gannon "I have no scheme, no playbook. Its in my brain." That and thoughts on Arizona being as tough for the Eagles as the Chiefs.

I agree with both sentiments offered on this conversation, that he will be back to full Kyler, but that's eventually and probably as you stated the second year of rehab (and I do call it all rehab till he is 100%)

Cards hire Drew Petzing as their OC

I frankly do not know much about any of these hires and have no idea how they will work out, but to be honest the only thing I think of when I hear this guy's name is Pez candy

Cards hire Nick Rallis as DC

He's an anomaly and if not, it just justifies my own opinion that the quality of football is now mediocre which makes this outcome possible

The people who came out with that do not look too good either lol
