    Shout out to Nurk/Bud. Nurk started showing hard and then recovering on those high screens and threw Philly off who were expecting drop coverage. Nice late tweak that resulted in a couple crucial stops and Nurk was a beast on the boards as usual.

    Start times are all over the place. I think all 30 teams are playing tonight and no games tomorrow for the election, so a lot of them are staggered by 15 mins

    This is the version of Devin Booker we've all been looking for. Decisive with his attacks, passes quickly when help defenders step up.

    Small but subtle tweak that really made a difference was putting Dunn on Powell and Oneale on Harden. Oneale was a bit more disciplined and played good body positioning while Dunn had the length and athleticism to hound Powell around screens and contest shots.

    Only one thing to pick on from this game; Phoenix is a feast or famine team, have gone down big in the first half in a number of games now. Would be nice to curb that.

    On this we agree. Early returns on Bud is he seems to be much more willing/able to adjust in game, but his reputation is that he can be a bit stubborn about this at times too. Will see how it pans out.

    Sure, but that's not true of everybody. Growth curves for players are all over the place and mostly hard to predict. Given the team's investment in DA, it's not unreasonable for the team to put him out there more than his current play deserved to see if his potential can be realized.

    Steven Adams would be an upgrade in almost every way, but I have no idea why Houston would want to do that, unless they want a pick way out in the future which I'm not sure if Phoenix is even allowed to trade.

    Eh, I give Monty mostly a pass for this (but not for everything). In hindsight, sure, forcing Ayton in the lineups looks like a poor decision. At the time, however, it felt warranted to get some reps in for DA in different situations to help develop him further. It obviously didn't pan out but I...
