    Right he played in half the games after he got activated and looked pretty good, this year he looks like he’s on another level. That deep pass breakup at the start of the game was exceptional.

    He was coming off an ACL injury…which I’m assuming you know. If the question is do we think melton will be better than Williams next year, I’m going with Williams every time because he looks like an awesome player *now*.

    Not that safeties are hard to find and I do like what I’ve seen from rabbit so far but Jalens contract is up next year. If we trade Buddha and let Jalen walk we are losing two of our best defenders. The team needs talent somewhere, I’m definitely more pro keeping baker around than I was last season.

    The Pats got rid of him because he was missing from all ranges, he was 65 percent on the year. I’m not sure it was specifically because he was kicking low. Not exactly a ringing endorsement but I don’t equate missing wide on 30s and 40s to mean he doesn’t have the leg/approach from 50. Praters...

    Ryland has range that’s probably about as good as praters, is cheaper, much younger and has hit multiple game winners. Appreciate prater but it should be Ryland’s job

    Also, he had a clear drop that didn’t count on Monday because the play resulted in a penalty.

    He also isn’t making difficult/contested catches that we would like him to make with his frame even if they aren’t counted as “drops”.

I truly don’t see the logic of giving these starting corner snaps to smb and Thomas when Williams is a good corner already and we need to be getting melton snaps.     To what end? We aren’t competing this year barring a miracle and Williams doesn’t move the needle for us. Onus should be on getting Wilson and MHJ (when he’s back) as many snaps as possible.
