    I think the bills taking Mitchell makes sense and could see the pats taking Ladd. Even if both teams go defender one of newton/dejean/kool aid with be there when the cards pick so I’m pretty happy with our spot and I like the edge pick even more with how the board looks now.

    What’s the issue with that? We get a cheap year, then the option year and extend him as a top paid corner. I doubt Denver is looking to ship him but it would be great for the team.

    C, I didn’t watch many bears games but I think Jones could end up being an overpay when we see the rest of the DT a market shake out (DaQuan Jones signed for 2/16). Also not sure on Murphy-bunting, CB market is pretty deep albeit a number of them are older and/or have injury concerns but guys...

    Basically every source on the internet says NFL is hard cap, you initially said it was “soft” because it increases every year which is wrong. This guy is saying that cash spend can go over the hard cap amount which is correct and also doesn’t make it a soft cap. It’s fine to be wrong about this.

    Nfl has a hard cap, the nba and mlb have a soft cap. A cap going up on a yearly basis does not make it a “soft cap”.

    Tre was great with the bills, FA CB market is pretty thin with Snead and Johnson getting tagged. If he’s healthy enough I’d take a shot on him and draft a corner day 2.
