    The suns beating the Lakers in a playoff series is a long shot at best but that could be said about every other team in the league. At least there is a chance for the first time in a decade. The fact we gained ground on them without Booker is a plus and shouldn't be overlooked.

    Ayton led the team in rebounds and was second in scoring on 9 of 11 shooting. Smith, Crowder, Carter, Payne and Moore went for 0-14 in 55 min. Ayton wasn’t perfect but he isn’t the reason the suns struggled in this game.

    Playoffs would be huge. Everything should be done to get there. The experience and energy will far outweigh another lotto pick. I don't think it's too late at all. If Ayton can continue to build on his recent play, the suns will have a real chance.

    He is only down 2ppg from last season with a higher shooting percentage. Maybe its just that he doesn't appear to be having as big an impact because the players around him can actually play. Booker will be fine if he stays healthy.

    The Suns are currently in the top five in PPG (5th-116.8), 3P% (4th- .384) and APG (1st-28.1). They are also 7th in 2P%-.533 and have the 13th fewest turnovers at 15.6 per game. What an improvement!!

    Our Ceiling

    The way they have played so far they are certainly a playoff caliber team. Can Booker stay healthy and can they sustain this level of play? Only time will tell but for right now, the way they have been playing they can beat anyone.
