    I saw the over for Conner receiving yards set at 11.5 and bet the over. Had that one locked up within the first drive. In all I won $150 on the 2 bets ($15) that I put on the Cards. I did get lucky by guessing that Wilson would score the first TD of the game. That $5 bet turned into $130...

    Yep this clearly was a massive failure by the Cardinals not to get at least a few in game reps during the preseason for their starters. It was painfully obvious with regards to the play of star rookie MHJr and his connection with Kyler.

    I wasn't expecting much from a pass rush aspect. However I thought they would be more effective at stopping the run.

    Like I said a few sentences later: There is no making Kyler taller. It's an issue that the Cardinals will always have to live with. There will be times where Kyler's "Shortcomings" affect what he can see on the field. I think this was one of those cases.

    My biggest complaint about the Defense is that they struggled to contain Allen. Those 9 rushes for 39 yards and 2 TDs were all back breakers. The Cardinals Defense just could not adjust to Allen's scrambles.

    There is that as well. I don't mind Beach as a backup. I dread having to watch Beach as a starter for 16 games.

    I hope Jonah Williams is OK. Because the health of this OL is key for offensive success. There is not much experience at OT past Beach.

    I disagree. The whole reason MHJr ended up wide open was because the DB covering him peeled off to tackle Dortch as Kyler was in the process of throwing it to Dortch before aborting. My guess is that Kyler couldn't see what was happening behind the Blitzing DB that jumped in the air to block...

    For me this was the biggest disappointment of the game. With the players who the Cardinals brought in via FA I had hoped at least the rush defense would look somewhat better. Yet they still got gashed in the run game.

    Kyler literally takes 3 side steps to the left after pulling it down and is looking at his progressions the entire time. Kyler is never outside of Paris on the left side. He doesn't start to scramble until the DE finally gets around Paris.
