    Tom Thibodeau, Anyone?

He was already on that level after Thibodeau's 1st year and did and does stagnate since then.

    What is the plan?

Except Jarrett Allen and maybe Dinwiddie I don't really see the potential in Nets' current roster but they will have a ton of cap space this summer. They did a remarkable job to turn-around the franchise after the disaster that Billy King left behind him and Kenny Atkinson's work is especially...

The 2018-2019 Around the NBA thread

Separation? They will have a very hard time to trade Parsons even if the Grizzlies are willing to take back bad/long-term contracts. There are not many in the range of Parson's not even if you combine some.

    What is the plan?

We had a long debate about that and I did suspect that I could not convince you, but I still think that you wrong. You can call it luck as long as you wish that the Sixers had 20% of chance of getting those picks but the fact that you keep missing is that this is still higher than any other...

    What is the plan?

Hate or not (I actually don't, moreover I do think it uses unquestionable logic), I'm eager to hear any other healthy alternative to rebuild.

    What is the plan?

I'm afraid, De'Anthony Melton. Demand is one thing, supply is another.

    What is the plan?

I'm fine with Melton and Okobo as a potential long-term backup PG's and both have the potential of becoming maybe more. Both are young, cheap and seem to accept a complementary role. Holmes is a good backup C, if we can sign him to a reasonable contract like 15mil./3year, it's OK, otherwise he...

2018-19 Season | Point Guard Discussion

Yes, Middleton has a down season while Bledsoe having a suprisingly effective one. I still think that Middleton is a better and more useful overall player but we will find out soon which one will be considered more valuable by the market when their new contracts will be handed out.

2018-19 Season | Point Guard Discussion

Their 2nd best player is Middleton and every time I watch the Bucks I always get the impression of Brogdon being a more useful and effective player than Bledsoe despite the advanced stats saying otherwise.

Poll - Igor Kokoskov's Future With the Suns

I'm on the exact opposite site. It was not too early to blame Kokoskov and now it is not too early either to credit him for early signs of the turn-around. He took over this complete mess. No PG, no PF, no defense, nothing. In his 1st games things were getting even worse. Then he started to...

Sources: Lakers trying to acquire Suns forward Trevor Ariza in a three-team deal

I agree. I like Dinwiddie but the Suns easily can try to sign him outright next summer. Having him on the roster as early as possible helps the team and having his Bird-rights increases the chances of signing him to a long-term contract but is this really worth Okobo and a future 1st rounder?

Sources: Lakers trying to acquire Suns forward Trevor Ariza in a three-team deal

That's easy. They will let Bledsoe go and re-sign Brogdon.

    Suns release Canaan

I just don't see why MIL pick needs to be involved in this trade.

    The 2019 Draft

As expected some players till now under the radar started to put their names into the conversation. Nickeil Alexander-Walker is a long, combo G with good 3P-stroke and solid passing skills. He might become an excellent backcourt-partner to Booker...

With two Great Players (even though young) Why aren't the Suns better?

That's Malcolm Brogdon. He will be a FA next summer.

    Kokoskov's offense

Sure, for example to play Ayton at PF.

    PF options

It seem very likely that Anderson will be waived-and-stretched before July 1st.

Impressive highlights. I don't think that his shot is that miserable.

Sixers get Jimmy Butler for a six-pack of beer and some dirty socks

Wall is still a great player but with this contract, injury-history and at this point of the Suns rebuilding he is just a wrong target.

    Josh Jackson

Actually, I think that JJ needs patience. His thinking is fine, he knows what he should have to do, but he is usually manouevring himself into a position where escape is not easy from especially the quick and predictable way that he usually tries to do. The athletisicm, talent and effort is...

    PF options

Problem is that Harris and Young are combo F's, while Randle's offensive profile is too close to Ayton's, IMO. Mirotic's 3P-shooting is nice and he is a mobile defender but doesn't offer much toughness, interior defense, rim protection, help defense and secondary rebounding that the Suns...

    PF options

Holmes is your tipical energy bigman from the bench, but nothing more. Faried is a similar type with more athleticism and less size.

    Celtics @ Suns 11-8-18

How is it possible that there were more Celtics fans than Suns fans in Phoenix?
