That's surprising. I guess that they have deals on the table for dumping both Teague and Dieng. It might not be that difficult for Teague but definitely will take at least one 1st rounder in case of Dieng and a total of 2 1st rounders probably will be needed.- hcsilla

We actually do have cap space even without renouncing Oubre. It's 13 mil. and you HAVE to add Oubre's cap hold to the team salary. After doing so the Suns have 13 mil. cap space. Who you make an offer sheet to, it does not matter regarding your cap space. If Oubre is RFA or UFA, doesn't matter...- hcsilla

Oubre's cap hold does count in your team salary: not because he is a RFA, not because you sign another RFA to an offer sheet, it does count in your team salary because that is the rule. You don't "use" Oubre's cap hold to create cap space. Even if you do nothing, Oubre's cap hold keeps counting against your cap until you extend him or match his offer sheet or withdraw the the QO and renounce his rights.
