I like Satoransky, he is a poor man's Brogdon. Good shooter, tall, mistake-free playmaker, maybe an average defender.

No way, he gets a max. offer sheet. He is a role player, an excellent one, but still a role player.

BTW, I think that Rozier is more of an MLE-guy.

    Brogdon for 18-20M.

Rozier is a bad choice, he had a solid play-off run last season but apart from that he is an athletic, inefficient combo G.

Geez, Mudiay is a terrible PG.

Now, I want to settle for long term asset like Brogdon. Geez, how many more years? And 2020 draft class seems quite weak. And with the new lottery rules tanking is even less beneficiary.

Sure, but I would like to see the Suns using their cap space on something more long-term than one year of Teague.

Which is a historically weak FA class.

I hope that the Suns' masterplan is not stretching Johnson and then trading cap space for Teague.

That doesn't clear cap space for MIN.

    2019 Free Agency

That's surprising. I guess that they have deals on the table for dumping both Teague and Dieng. It might not be that difficult for Teague but definitely will take at least one 1st rounder in case of Dieng and a total of 2 1st rounders probably will be needed.

I'm always surprised to see reports like this since Coby White is not much more (if at all) a PG than Culver.

And it is much worse than renouncing Russell and use their cap space on a max. player.

They would probably prefer let Russell leave over that offer.

    Welcome Ty Jerome

I think that McConnell is quicker and more explosive than Jerome but the latter might become a better shooter while also being bigger.

"If the other team declines to match, thus giving the player to the Suns, then at that point the Suns would have to renounce Oubre if they still need any or all of that cap hold for the new player’s salary." It sounds that the Suns can ignore Oubre's cap hold, give an offer sheet to their...

    2019 Free Agency

Geez, now I get it. The article's wording of "using Oubre's cap hold as part of another RFA offer" is totally misleading and it sounds like as someone would completely misunderstand how salary cap works. The key is that you actually do NOT use Oubre's cap hold when calculating cap space, you...

    2019 Free Agency

There is no RFA loophole. I tried to explain to you, because you seem totally confused how salary cap works. You don't understand what I'm saying, because I think your basics are somehow somewhere broken. I apologize, that I tried to help you. I gave up. You should start here...

    Yes, correct.

    2019 Free Agency

We actually do have cap space even without renouncing Oubre. It's 13 mil. and you HAVE to add Oubre's cap hold to the team salary. After doing so the Suns have 13 mil. cap space. Who you make an offer sheet to, it does not matter regarding your cap space. If Oubre is RFA or UFA, doesn't matter...

And I already explained twice where you are wrong.

    2019 Free Agency

Yes, we could, but I hope that we won't. I just can not buy Rose's rebuilding-breakout season. It was nice, he cried when interviewed, very touchy, but he is a 30-year old former superstar after several heavy injuries who always was a scoring 1st PG with limited defense. Is he the one who we...

    2019 Free Agency

You miss something basic. Oubre's cap hold does count in your team salary: not because he is a RFA, not because you sign another RFA to an offer sheet, it does count in your team salary because that is the rule. It counts in your team salary (therefore decreases your cap space) until you...

    2019 Free Agency

You don't "use" Oubre's cap hold to create cap space. Even if you do nothing, Oubre's cap hold keeps counting against your cap until you extend him or match his offer sheet or withdraw the the QO and renounce his rights. So if you offer a RFA an offer sheet while Oubre's cap hold is counting...
