OT: Now it is Cooper Kupp's turn at Mega-deal

A minor tweak in the scheme. The point is, they replaced the talent rather readily and that was a point missing from the post I quoted.

    Didn't they sign Bobby Wagner?

Suns @ Warriors Wednesday game thread 3-30-2022

I've only been listening since the end of the 3rd, but, damn the refs are wearing out their whistles.

Super Bowl LVI: Bengals vs Rams (Game Day Thread)

CBSLA: "The parade wound its way down Jefferson Boulevard to Figueroa Street, and down Exposition Park Drive before ending in a rally at L.A. Memorial Coliseum’s Olympic Plaza, where upwards of 20,000 fans greeted the team."

Super Bowl LVI: Bengals vs Rams (Game Day Thread)

I've lived in Los Angeles since 1993 and I have never met a Cardinals fan here outside of an NFL stadium. I grew up in Phoenix and have many many friends still there. Not a single Cardinal fan among them. Sure, some of them "root" for the Cardinals, but they are not actual fans.

Whiners to the NFC Title Game

It probably won't be as Whiner heavy as week 18. San Francisco fans had all season to buy those tickets, make travel arrangements, etc. This is a shorter notice type deal. The example would have to be that the roughing the qb came on 4th down AFTER the ball was incomplete. I can't say that I remember seeing that situation but I'll take your word for it if it happens all the time. Do you have such an example?

It was 4th down. As soon as the ball hit the ground, possession changes regardless of any infraction that occurs after that. It's pretty clear.

    ON The pick six

This was covered upthread: This is from the NFL rulebook: "ARTICLE 16. HORSE-COLLAR TACKLE No player shall grab the inside collar of the back or the side of the shoulder pads or jersey, or grab the jersey at the name plate or above, and pull the runner toward the ground. This does not apply to...

Cardinals at Rams playoff gameday thread 1-17-2022

I had heard, though, that no one in Los Angeles cared about the Rams. I guess that's a false narrative.
