    Not replacing Cromartie is hurting the Cardinals today. When Cleveland needs a play they just throw at Bethel or exploit the height mismatch with Mathieu. On offense the other guys watch film too. Arizona goes no back on third and long. Just blitz, Palmer is going hot read to avoid the hit.

    "In spite of" would be an accurate description for what the Cardinals achieved with Warner at quarterback in regards to the offensive line. Warner had the dubious distinction of the being the most hit quarterback in the league that year.

    Third and intermediate: the Cardinals throw a low percentage long pass which results in a punt. The Raven just get the first down and their drive results in a touchdown. We see the Cardinals stop themselves week after week taking a deep shot when they just need to move the chains.

    It's not a good harbinger, but the Cardinals let Landry Jones run a 7 on 7 drill. The Cardinals have taken a pass rusher progressive higher in the draft each year of the current regime. They obviously recognize the need and are trying to address it, but they just haven't struck gold yet.

    The Lions have issues. They were out playing the Cardinals but folded up in the face of adversity. That team doesn't care. They have no pride. The turnovers and lopsided score masked a very uneven effort by the Cardinals.
