    Actually, I like coach Vogel's actions the last couple games. They are not all perfect but he seems to adapt to the situations better. In this game, Book stopped dominating the ball from the beginning of possessions, and he stuck to Bol to end the game. He may have pulled Okogie too early though...

    Yeah, Booker's easily figured out as the PG by good teams and he should more focus on playing SG, let Beal and EG ininiate the offense more. In the long run, we need more cuts and screens to accomplement our SG-turned-PG plays. And, without defense like Okogie's, it's hard to win vs top teams.

    Wish we had a mixture of Beal and Book at handling the ball and at drives. Beal is more forceful but often get into too many collapsing defenders and TOs.     Beal is a better "PG" than Booker, his drives are more crisp and create better space. And Okogie saved the 1st half for us with his defense. Bol improved a lot, no longer lost on both sides.

    Nurk is good on offense but has defensive lapses. Carter has the 3pt touch in this game, yet Nurk and our D hasn't paid enough attention. If we ever learn to play proper team defense consistently, the offense with big-3 comes easy.

    Just watched Pacers-Knicks game. Pacers defended Brunson a lot better than we did, even with McConnell on him. The recipe is simple, not buy the fakes and stay on the ground keeping the shadow on him. And on offense, Pacers move really well to get open looks. We are on the right track to abandon...

    Nurk had one out-of-bound ball saved right into other team's player for easy layup, AND one side pass to Allen without seeing Allen was already gone. In general, we just make a lot of mechanical passes without proper assessing the situation that lead to TOs.

    Nurk was the culprit in both scenarios. Our game focus is not always there. Allen and Metu relaxed a bit on rotation and boom they hit the 3s. At least Vogel called timely TOs to sub out Metu and instruct Allen to pressure Rozier closer. But at least the coaches are aware of those problems and...

    In the Knicks game Beal got nice screens to catch and shoot with success, but got unfortunate injuries there. We need to have more of the same for all of our shooter including KD, Book, Gordon and Allen when hot. In those sets, Okogie can be useful.

    Saben is ultra quick and strong for his size, his drives have good odds to tear up the paint defense and he finishes well around basket. In no gabbage playing time, he just needs to control it more and choose wisely when to do the layup.

    Some of them were from being not prepared for aggressive poking from behind moves, lack of situation awareness. Some were too hard passes that should have been softer lobs or touch passes for open guys, need refinement there with more reps. At least we ain't turn over due to double teaming KD...
