    Would have rather the Cardinals select a player to fill a weakness or a need instead of one in which there are a plethora of accomplished performers. Maybe a corner or tight end or running back would have made more sense. But, as someone said somewhere: Defense wins championships.

    Cut the GM. He’s consistently awful in the draft, picking consistently awful players. He’s signed underperforming free agents who never seen to pan out and over hypes his signings. With a different GM, there likely would be no need for this thread.

    Maybe it’s not the coach. Maybe it’s the GM, who hasn’t exactly had a great track record in the draft or free agent market. From listening to present GM during free agency, you would have thought we were bringing in the undefeated Dolphin team piece by piece.

    Over the Cardinals’ history, the team has had horrible drafts, especially the No1 spot. Given where the AZ has drafted, In my opinion, the person drafted first MUST be a starter and good enough to play multiple years.
