Headcoach Kliff Kingsbury and his assistant coaches

I think that will actually help him succeed. Our athletic director at Tech allowed him to make all the staff decisions and it got him off to the wrong start with a lot of inexperienced coaches around him. Your ownership wants Kliff to fix Rosen and the offense. That's his primary job. He will...

    Kyler Murray entering Draft

    5-8ish?

Kingsburys Plan...Why the Cardinals hired him!

I would be shocked if Murray is taller than 5-9 at the Combine. Would not surprise me if he's 5-8. But he is a phenomenal talent, faster than Johnny Manziel/Russell Wilson/Lamar Jackson with a very accurate and strong arm. He's very experienced running an offense similar to Kliff's. He loves...

Headcoach Kliff Kingsbury and his assistant coaches

Definitely seems Kliff likes him. Kliff recommended him to Packers/McCarthy. http://www.espn.com/blog/green-bay-packers/post/_/id/28112/packers-aide-david-raih-once-left-100k-salary-for-unpaid-first-coaching-gig "In two years at UCLA, Raih helped out with quarterbacks and tight ends before he...

Oklahoman article on Kingsbury to Cardinals

Yes, I think people get caught up in Kliff's Gosling appearance and don't really know that much about him as a person. He is an introvert who loves gameplanning, scheming, calling plays, developing the QB and other players on offense, and is also a very high character person. Graduation rate of...

Kingsbury's potential long term impact is greater than any other candidate

My thought is let's say Kliff does a good job developing Rosen, but the Cards don't win enough games to keep Kliff over the long haul. He still gives you a potentially very good franchise QB for the next 15 years even if he's not the coach for most of that time period. That would be a valuable...

Oklahoman article on Kingsbury to Cardinals

It's not easy, but others have done it in the past and were able to win more than Kliff. I think the guy is just not wired for the recruiting game like a typical college coach. NFL game just might be a better fit for him. He won't have to worry about recruiting. Sure sounds like the Cardinals...

Draft Kyler Murray #1, trade Josh Rosen?

Couch burner? We aren't West Virginia's fanbase, haha. We like this Matt Wells guy a lot. Utah State is about 80 miles from Salt Lake airport. So he had to fly kids into Salt Lake and drive them 80 miles to the Utah State campus. I think he views Lubbock's isolation from Houston/DFW/Austin...

Vance Joseph in the building today??

He did a good job slowing down Mahomes and the Chiefs offense this year. Could be a good fit for the Cardinals, especially in a division with Mahomes-esque Russell Wilson.

Draft Kyler Murray #1, trade Josh Rosen?

Murray has some of that anti-authority streak in him too. Infamously chewed out high school coaches on the sidelines as a teenager. But Kyler loves Kliff and Kliff loves Kyler from the recruiting process. They are good buddies. I don't think we would see Kyler's high school antics with Kliff. We...

Potential defensive coordinators - my suggestions

He did a pretty good job slowing down Mahomes this year. That's about all I know of him, lol

Kingsburys Plan...Why the Cardinals hired him!

It's not out of context in the sense that Kliff recruited Kyler and the two are very good friends. Kliff has massive respect for Kyler's talent. I guarantee you when he first started recruiting him, he saw visions of Manziel Part 2. Kyler is even faster than Manziel with a better arm than...

Kingsburys Plan...Why the Cardinals hired him!

It's a QB league though. Mahomes just dragged arguably the worst defense in the league to a 12-4 record. All comes down to how confident Kliff and the front office are about Rosen's potential for development.

Kingsburys Plan...Why the Cardinals hired him!

This is my thought too. Let them duke it out in practice and see which one develops the best. If they both develop, suddenly you have really good trade bait. If only one develops, then oh well. It also means you got a franchise QB for the next 15 years, which is the hardest thing to do in football.

    Kyler Murray entering Draft

Oh I definitely think Kliff can have plenty of success with Rosen. He has a good arm and when he gets in a groove, he can kick a lot of butt as we saw in some of those games at UCLA. Kyler is an exciting talent with his scrambling ability. He's also much more accurate than your typical...

Greg Williams DC is available - GO GET HIM NOW

Not sure he would fit with Kliff’s personality. Rather see a guy that can be a mentor for Kliff like Wade Phillips for McVay. Maybe guys like Marvin Lewis or Chuck Pagano.

    Kyler Murray entering Draft

Did not coach him but recruited him and Kyler loved him. I think if Kliff was able to win more instead of be on the hot seat a couple years later, Kyler would have transferred to Tech. He made a great choice with Oklahoma.

    Kyler Murray entering Draft

My first thought is get Davis Webb. Currently on Jets practice squad. Kliff has said Webb is going to be a coach. Very smart kid. He would be able to help teach the offense/vocabulary to Rosen. Webb also has legit talent with similar velocity at the Combine to Mahomes. He’s got the big frame...

    Kyler Murray entering Draft

Kyler loved Kliff in the recruiting process when he was in high school. But ultimately went to A&M primarily because of his father’s connection there. By the time he wanted to transfer out of A&M, Kliff was on the hot seat. He made a great choice with Oklahoma. I thought it was interesting...
