    Not sure how lack of defense by the players and a supposed lack of direction by the team have to do with each other. Clearly the FO expected these players to play better than they are. As did I. MCD has drafted well but the overall personnel management has been pretty bad so far.

    They had a pretty spirited, if ultimately doomed, effort against Arsenal but since then it has not been pretty. The next home game loss against Watford was particularly disappointing considering the remaining fixtures of last month. Need to get something against AV at home.
