Getting "Hochulied" - time for the NFL to have a chat with its refs

OK, I watched the replay, and it does clip the guy on the arm after the bounce. But with that, I have a new question: If a guy goes out of bounds, he cannot be the first to touch the ball, right? If the refs go by this guy being out of bounds when he touched it, isn't that a penalty? Or am I...

Q Needs To Do Some Damage Control

Donald, if you're referring to the picture that the players were all running around with, remember that that picture was not taken in the post game, but earlier in the game, if it was even in this game. There is no way the picture was taken during the celebration where the newspaper was seen...

Q Needs To Do Some Damage Control

Agreed. I have a hard time seeing all the post game talk being about Boldin's blowup, given that the team, I dunno, just won the NFC Championship game. Boldin left because he was in a bad mood, why is anyone's guess. But he never should have left early, he should have celebrated.

    Picking on Hood

It's about numbers. When it was Hood and Green, everyone threw at Green because Hood is better. Thus, Green looked awful (which he is). Now that DRC is in, he's the superior corner, so teams throw at Hood. The more throws his way, the more likely he is to get burned. It happens. There are...

A word of praise for Leinart.

I'm pretty sure there are roster bonuses and what not that would he would get long before anyone knows if he's worth it. I could be wrong though. And I sure don't want this to turn into a Warner vs. Leinart thread, because we had those, and hell, you win, I was wrong :) But, like I...

    Just posted on ESPN (quan)

If Boldin bitches about his contract or threatens to hold out, I say let him. He has no leverage in the situation anymore, as the team can play well without him.

A word of praise for Leinart.

I guess. Believe me, I'm sold on Warner. He's earned my respect, and I totally appreciate what he's done. I just don't want that respect and appreciation to cost us Leinart, because that would be folly in my opinion. Thus, in my perfect world, Warner gets a storybook ending to his career...

Does Shaq Have Positive Trade Value?

Yes, he'd have positive trade value, because he's good. And, for that reason, the Suns should not trade him.

Getting "Hochulied" - time for the NFL to have a chat with its refs

Yeah, umm, given how the ball never went out of bounds or was touched by a player who was out of bounds, this guy is a fool.

    Super Cardinals

Outstanding. Warner was so damn good this game, wow, I'd go out on a limb and say it was his best game of the year.

Getting "Hochulied" - time for the NFL to have a chat with its refs

Because the offense went in the tank first. You're right though, the play could have put the game away, but it wouldn't have been why the Cards lost. The team showed a resiliency not seen, well, ever, and bounced back well from bad officiating.

A word of praise for Leinart.

The perfect world for the Cards is to win the Super Bowl and have Warner retire on top. That way the SB win buys them a grace period to be not so great (hell, who expected the Cards to even reach the SB?), and allows Leinart to take over without controversy. That would be a perfect world, in...

Getting "Hochulied" - time for the NFL to have a chat with its refs

If I recall correctly, the whistle never blew. I really don't think it did. Maybe I'm wrong, at the game it's hard to hear (a wonderful thing, by the way), but I think they let play go, then decided that they called it dead upon the flag being thrown.

    Why only call Amare out?

Thing is, everyone is willing to overlook a guy like Nash's deficiencies, but is quick to point out Amare's. Yeah, Amare isn't happy about the offense. Remember who the first one to complain was? Nash. Know who has the ball and leads the team in turnovers? Nash. I'm not saying either...

    Calling Amare out

And man, people always have an infatuation with players who have tons of heart, but less ability. That premise worked well for the Dave McGinnis Cardinals, so let's do it for the Suns!

    Calling Amare out

Ever stop to think that Lee's stats may be a bit inflated this year due to his coach, much like Amare in the past?

    Nfc Championship Ticket Information

Yep, tried to get tickets, failed. A friend of mine got through, then thought it was too expensive. When I heard that I died a little inside, because I tried calling and had other friends trying to get through and none of us were successful. Damn it.

    Has Amare mailed it in?

Man, expectations really skew opinions. The guy has an off night (in which he gets a double/double) and people ask if he's mailing it in. Tough crowd.

    RJ to SF

I don't blame him, the DBacks lowballed him, and he left for a team that now has a ridiculously scary rotation.

    Kurt Warner's play today?

Haha probably, I'd be singing Leinart's praises, and you and Iawaner would be talking about how he isn't ready to lead the team. :)

    Kurt Warner's play today?

That's fair, and to be honest, I probably have been a bit harsh. I was going off what I remember at the game, and having seen some replays, the throws do seem better. So, that's my bad. And I wont' deny that Kurt has been good for the team, for the most part. Hell, I've given him kudos for...
