    He was definitely mashing, and I was super happy when Cleveland had to return him, but getting a top left handed reliever who we have under contract for 2 1/2 more years makes it (hopefully) worth it.

    What’s great about the contract is that it is not only incredible trade bait at the trade deadline, but it is great bait around the draft since the second year has zero guarantees.

    Great contract for the Suns, and obviously great for Okogie. Not a huge fan of Okogie, but I love the potential of his contract. It has the potential of being a very valuable trade chip with the second year not guaranteed.

    If we stay at #56 sign me up for Jamal Shead. Late second rounders rarely make it, but I wouldn’t bet against Shead. Worst case scenario his leadership and unselfish play could help develop other young players in the G League.

    Minnesota got all the way up to #9 for their 2031 pick (and a 2030 pick swap). Our 2031 would be way to valuable to trade for a second round pick. Our best hope is for him to slip into the 40s then our #56 and a future 2nd should be plenty.
