    I don't think Verse is going to be an OLB...and I don't thinks that what Gannon wanted. He wanys a hand in the dirt DE who can play the run and rush the passer...not drop into coverage. I think Verse can do that. I think Robinson can do that, but he's behind Verse as a pass rusher

    Robinson is going to bring something we don't have as a DE. Based on the FA we brought in...we were more lacking in DE rotation than DT anymore. Newton would have been a good pick, and still would be at 35...but Robinson seems like he brings a different body type and skill set than anyone else...

    Kool Aid would be my top choice....pure CB that would start for us. Other than that...I'm fine with Newton, Dejean...although I think he's a safety in the nfl...or another WR. I do want Cooper Beebe, but I think 35 is too high. If we could trade 35 and 66 for 2 picks in the 40s...I'd be all for it

    Now THAT is a reach. Pearsall would have been around in the mid to late 2nd round, and there are better WR's still available. Newton might very well be there at #35 and could be in consideration. I think we go CB or WR....but who knows.

    Robinson has as much interior pass rush potential as Newton...maybe more. Hes 10 pounds lighter than Newton....but way more athletic. Hes going to play in the NFL at between 280-300lbs.

    There was ONE speed/threaten the edge rusher in the first round...and it was Dallas Turner. I would have picked Verse over Robinson....but as a hand in the dirt, 3 down DE....those were the best 2. Robinson is never going to come off the field on defense. Hes a stud.

    Theres nothing to dislike about the Robinson pick. He has less question marks than Newton...and we signed like 5 DT's in free agency. If you wanted a CB fine...we can get one at #35. We can probably get Newton at #35 if you really wanted him that badly.

    Not true at all. Hes been mocked at the end of the 1st consistently. Newton was more likely to fall out of the 1st than Robinson.

    Really good pick. Incredibly high motor. 4.0 GPA. 1st team all SEC...Team captain. Hes a poor mans Cam Jordan...and has the mentality to be great. Hes Marcus Golden, with better physical gifts.

    There are only about 5-6 stud defenders to be had. Turner, Verse, Arnold, Mitchell, Murphy and Newton. If you want one of those guys, go get them. Don't watch 7 or 8 defensive players go directly in front of you.
