    I don't think so. You can win in free agency by doing what you can at that time to make your team better. If one of our players blows out an ankle, it wouldn't mean he didn't swing for the fences and also it wasn't the right call.

    Surprised I never posted on this thread. Peacemaker was flat out awesome nearly from beginning to the end. It did dip in like episodes 4-5 IIRC, but the first three and last 2 were fan freaking tastic. Can't wait for S2.

    Dockett is a top 5 favorite Cardinal of all time. But PP's accomplishments here are arguably top 5 of any Cardinal. He belongs over Dockett and it isn't even close.

    I don't think downgrade is the way to look at it. It would be to fill other holes that would have more of an impact. (OL, DL, ILB etc)

    I think that would be a counter. Plus you'd have your linebackers and safeties pushing the defensive players forward, like the offense does to try and create a stalemate, or better.

    I learned this 2 years after the SB run. It was not only everything you mentioned above, but it was also dedicating 10 Sundays a year (most of the time, since we weren't playing much on Monday nights) when you have small ones to take care of. Combined all that and I only miss it a little bit...

    I always thought it would be interesting to see teams throw in 2 or 3 OL on the defensive side of the ball. Their job is to push back players, just like DL. You just have more OL designed to push the pile back than DL.

    I'd have to see how the draft shook out picks 1-15 before agreeing to a trade down. This one would HAVE to work though. If it were to be two terrible trades with Houston, Monti would lose a lot of good will he might have so far...

    I don't think so. I bet some organizations would want their team to resemble the Lions, another the Ravens, and yet another the Chiefs for examples. Okay. I think last year we hoped to have the Lions turnaround, not necessarily mold our team after theirs. We obviously didn't hit that mark...
