He hurt his hip on the previous drive, hasn’t played since. Commentary mentioned his day is done most likely.

    Games 11-17-2024

I obviously do for the conference standings but another part of me is worried if they win they gain confidence going into our game… you can probably tell I’m a worrier haha In other news Bosa is sitting out the rest of the game with a hip injury…

Seacow’s NFC West Overreaction Thread (Week 4 Edition)

Interesting, did they move on too soon? He hardly got a chance… :p

Haha all are said with tongue in cheek

Seacow’s NFC West Overreaction Thread (Week 4 Edition)

    1. 49ers should start thinking about moving on from Purdy 2. Rams should seriously think about tanking 3. Seahawks should have kept Russell wilson 4. The Cards have the fastest ever QB to play the game I hope everyone is well and enjoying their Wednesday!

Seacow’s NFC West Overreaction Thread (Week 3 Edition)

First of all, sorry this is so late, work has been crazy this week! So better late than never: 1. Without McCaffrey, the 49ers team is average at best. Likely 1 and out playoff team. 2. Stafford has returned to 2021 SB winning form… and without his star receivers to boot. 3. The Seahawk’s...

    Offenses down around the league?

Something which I haven’t seen highlighted (although I don’t have stats so may actually be wrong) is it appears there are much more rookie QBs starting from the off when compared to a few years ago. This year had a record number of QBs taken in the first round (if I recall correctly). This...

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

If I’m honest, I could never start of with supporting a winning team such as the chiefs currently, it’d feel too much like jumping on the bandwagon / glory hunting haha. I’ve actually been reading the message board for quite a while now, but finally felt the urge to start posting Haha would...

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

Haha I see! I think I’m more an optimist than a pessimist, but definitely with a have heavy dosing of realism. Being a lifelong Preston North End fan (soccer team who are perennially average and always the underdog) has taught me to keep expectations low and enjoy the ride for what it is...

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

They’ll pull some LA Rams cap trickery and be able to afford it somehow (if they wanted to…)

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

Excited for this game. I feel they will also have something to prove after a poor showing against the Bucs. Hopefully home advantage plays a big part and we dominate TOP, which will be crucial for a win.

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

I feel this is definitely leaning in the overreaction direction, rather than plausible haha. I just can’t see the DL holding up against better opponents. The lions will be a very good test for the defence. I’m hoping Kyler and the offence help the defence by keeping them off the field as much...

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

Very true. However, one of the overreactions used on the podcast was the 49ers walked away from the wrong QB. Ie they should have kept Darnold and traded Purdy. Clearly as pointed out on the show this is ludicrous haha.

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

Oh, gotcha! I reckon this could be plausible - they looked diabolical on Sunday.

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

Would love this. But my realistic mind tells me the defence will fold like a stack of cards (excuse the pun) against a semi competent offence.

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

Also should have said that the discourse should be whether these overreactions are potentially plausible or not… thus sparking debate!

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

    1. Love it! Barring injury and he continues to play like he did against the rams, this is plausible 2. Sorry for my stupidity, what do you mean sell at the deadline? 3. Plausible if bosa is injured - they have a history of investing capital into prime agents: Trent Williams, mccaffrey etc 4...

    Seacow’s Overreaction Monday (On a Wednesday…)

I’ve been listening to a lot of Rich Eisen recently and have been particularly fond of his Overreaction Monday podcast. Hence I thought it may be fun to do one specifically for the NFC West following week 2s action. The aim of this isn’t to provide objectively factual statements or projections...

Oh really? Why is that? Thought to be too disruptive?

Rams at Cardinals gameday thread 9-15-24

Sorry for the ignorance guys, but what is a good PFF grade? I’ve seen Evan Brown received a 72, I’m assuming that’s good given the eyeball test told me the oline played well. Thanks in advance!

    10 thoughts - Rams game

Would it be possible to create something similar at home? The other thing that happens in soccer is there’s usually a few fans with drums, trumpets etc which keeps all the fans in time when singing. It’s pretty special to experience.
