Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

    And with Tsakalidis. :)

I disagree. Johnson's contract may turn out as a bargain.

Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

It is very early but Dunn is on his way to become the next Robert Covington. At least.

Suns open Summer League in Las Vegas, July 13th, 2024

I'm not so sure. I think that Roddy's only skill is, if he has space, he can jump. That is not much. If we attach a 2nd rounder to him, maybe we can trade him for a little bit less trash player than he is.

    Yes, and so is Roddy.

    Suns 2024-2025 Season Discussions

You think that Kessler is worth more than #8 of this year? From Suns' point of view Nurkic is easily replaceable with Little in this proposal.

    Suns 2024-2025 Season Discussions

Yes, but considering that the Wolves was able to get #8 for a 2031 pick and a pick swap, it is not out of the question that the Suns could get Kessler for Nurkic (who might be a negative value or might be not) and a distant future 1st rounder.

    Suns 2024-2025 Season Discussions

I think that both Wright and Morris are reasonable targets, who could help the Suns. I doubt that Lowry, Dunn or Payne will be available for the vet min. Reggie Jackson is too shot-happy for my taste as a backup PG. Neto is a borderline NBA player and god save us from Dennis Smith Jr.'s selfishness.

Suns sign Boo Buie to an Exhibit 10 contract

I think that 19/5 in the NCAA easily quialifies as a playmaker. Besides, I don't see any correlation between Okogie's opt-out and signing of Buie.

I would happily see the Suns to take either Jamal Shead or Isaiah Crawford at #56.

Suns draft Ryan Dunn at #28

I think that Dunn was a great pick. He is sensational both at on-ball and help defense. If he ever becomes an average 3P-shooter (which is possible, IMO, since his jumpshot is not broken), the Suns got a steal at #29.

2024 NBA Draft talk: Suns own pick 22

Or not even a toothless veteran. I can easily see using #22 for some future 2nd rounders and dumping Little.

Suns @ Timberwolves Tuesday Playoff game thread 4-23-2024 - Game 2

Not really since we have even more pick swaps than traded picks. Pick swaps become sunk cost only after stupidily beginning the rebuild as well.

Suns @ Timberwolves Tuesday Playoff game thread 4-23-2024 - Game 2

One of the stupidest things in the NBA is first trading all of your own picks then start to rebuild.

    Watching Suns games

I really like Booker, he is a great player. But deep in my heart he is simply not at the level of Steve Nash. Nash meant so much for those great Suns teams, he was the computer, the engine and the oil.

From that list Delon Wright would be my choice.

No, but since he has absolutely no idea what's going on in the NBA, it doesn't mean anything.

The only bright spot of a quick rebuilding that Beal will quickly want to move on as well, so his no-trade clause won't really matter.

Mavericks @ Suns Monday (Christmas Night) game thread 12-25-2023

Yes, I never really understood what was the point of letting Biyombo go. Maybe it was a sophisticated consideration that his roster spot was saved since Azubuike more or less can re-produce Biyombo while being only a 2-way contract. Problem is that this might be not true and continouity would...

Mavericks @ Suns Monday (Christmas Night) game thread 12-25-2023

Embarrassing but well-deserved loss. Other than Allen getting hot and hitting everything in the 3rd, DAL's defense and Doncic's offense did dominate the Suns. Metu has shown that he is a valuable benchplayer. Durant's turnovers mostly coming from pick-and-rolls where he is trying to give slow...
