    If you could fix an issue that you foresee to just continue and pop up again later on..why not mend it now? They are reviewing it already and doing all the thinking for the NBA.. all we have to do is sit and wait for whatever they decide on... it really isnt something to get fluttered about...

    Im not sure on this but I know if you retire early ..you are still on the salary cap of the team until the end of your contract...just like Van Horn being tradded to the Nets from Mavericks after he retired.     We had more fast breaks and defensive rebounds with Shaq after the trade during the regular season. I am not excusing Shaq and his old bones from the way the team is playing the Spurs the past 3 games but I will not be putting all the blame on him either.
