    RIP: Val Kilmer (1959-2025)

Kilmer's mother used to live in Wickenburg while I lived there and people would see Val there every now and then (I never did).

    RIP: Val Kilmer (1959-2025)

Nick Rivers: Hillary. That's an unusual name. Hillary Flammond: It's a German name. It means 'she whose bosoms defy gravity'. Nick Rivers: I'm pleased to meet you. My name's Nick. Hillary Flammond: Nick? What does that mean? Nick Rivers: Oh, nothing. My dad thought of it while he was shaving...

    Barbie

Wife and I finally got around to watching this last night. Thanks to @elindholm for saving me a lot of typing. Agree totally with your thoughts on this. My wife was bored with it and fell asleep. Really got a kick out of the opening 2001 a Space Odyssey riff, but it pretty much fell off a...

    1923 (Paramount+)

More murder and death and pestilence and sorrow..... They're trying to build up to this big kaboom finale, but it's not working very well, at least for me.

    Reacher (TV series reboot)(Amazon Prime)

Turns out the final fight scene was pretty brutal to shoot, too! Ritchson was knocked out cold while filming it...

    Reacher (TV series reboot)(Amazon Prime)

Incredible ending (throwing out anything realistic... remember, this is on par with Marvel super heroes.... ;) ) Epic fight finish. Paulie was one badarsed bad guy! They really should have stretched this episode out by 30 minutes or so, but within its genre, it was excellent. Looking forward to...

    Coco 2 set for 2029

Really, REALLY enjoyed Coco, and hope they stay true to the first one. This is probably sacrilege, but I liked Encanto just a wee bit more.....

    1923 (Paramount+)

Some are just obvious F-ups, not a different take on history. For example, the show is in 1924 and they are using the smaller paper money that the U.S. didn't start printing until 1928. I'm not a fact checker of any sort, but for gawd's sake, if I knew this, a friggin' "Hollywood" fact checker...

    1923 (Paramount+)

Watching the new season of this. Hardly Emmy winning stuff and they still make historical errors and questionable plot choices, but watchable, for now.

    The Greatest Showman

I believe the old white couple was Phillip Carlyle's (Zack Efron) parents. That was an incredible scene.

    The Greatest Showman

From the movie...... Same gal, much smoother, more powerful version, fantastically acted and perhaps the best lip syncing ever. I still tear up a bit every time I watch this.

    The Greatest Showman

    They've got great taste! :)

    The Greatest Showman
