I am curious if there were any others on this board that went to the airport to meet the team after the 98 playoff win over Dallas. It was a total mad house at the airport.

I didn't...but I did go to the Vikes Cards playoff game in Jan 1999...It was -40 degrees! We did stay at the same hotel as the team and met several players!

I was with Jttsaz in Minny for that game and also went to the game in Dallas the week before. Kwammie Lassiter gave me tickets to both and in Dallas, I got to sit next to the IR Cardinals and their families (like Joe Nedney). It was awesome in so many ways!

I will go to every playoff game we are in this year as well.

Even better than meeting the team at the airport, my son and I got to sit in Texas Stadium and watch the Cardinals whip up on the boys.

The best part was when the Cardinals scored early in the second half and the life went out of all the cowboy fans. You could have heard a pin drop for the rest of the game.

What a great day to be decked out in all my Cardinal gear, deep in cowboy land.

Adrian Murrell certainly had a career game and like you said the second half run you could see the air go out of Cowboy stadium.

One of the most dominating defensive games I have ever seen by the Cardinals. That year was pretty magical. I really thought they could pull out a win against the Vikings. The week between the Cowboys game and the Vikings game was tourturesome!

My favorite play from that game was the shovel (shuffle?) pass to Adrian when Plummer got damn near knocked the hell out and Murrell walked into the endzone. I thought Plummer was dead, but he got back up to celebrate with the rest of the offense.
