Anyone know when that'sannounced? The season ends on Sunday, right? So do games begin on Wednesday or Thursday night? Are all 5 game first round series every day or is there a break in between games 2 and 3? How does it usually go?

Man, it would just be awesome if we won the division and got to play the Cubbies which I could watch in enemy territory here in Chicago. That would just be awesome.

Not sure on the exact schedule set yet, but I know they are going to more of a NBA-format. That means there is an off day between virtually every game.

Stupid TV rules. Ruining the strategy behind pitching matchups in the post season.

yeah, I actually found it on the MLB official site - stupid - series that start on Wednesday end the following Tuesday. Weird. Still, I'll be in Chi-town for at least one game if they play at Wrigley - gotta try and get tix for that if it happens!

Not true. Games 1 and 2 will be on Wednesday and Thursday while Games 3 and 4 will be Saturday and Sunday regardless of who we're playing. Wish I had planned my Chicago trip for that weekend instead of this last one.

Yeah, You are right. That is wierd that the sports pundits have been whining about this alot lately.

Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday (NLDS Schedule)
Thursday, Friday, Sunday, Monday, Wed, Fri, Sat (NLCS Schedule)

Of course, those days include "if-necessary" games.

still, that Game 5 is almost ALWAYS the very next day, wrapping up the series by the end of the week, isn't it? I can remember the Cards series back in 2001, getting killed on Saturday, then coming back home for the Sunday night Game 5 classic.
