Coming into the season being 2-2 after the first 4 games might have been expected with 3 of those 4 being road games (Thanks, NFL).

Being 2-2 and playing competitively = okay with most of us.

Limping into a 2-2 record which includes near-losses to the Rams and Raiders = not okay.

We like to point at the 0-4 Niners, but the truth is they are likely a better overall team at 0-4 than we really are at 2-2.

We flat out suck in so many ways and at so many positions that it will be impossible to fix everything soon enough to matter for this season and likely beyond.

Plus, add to the fact that it seems (at least right now) that it wasn't Whiz's coaching that lead us to 2 division titles and a SB - it was Warner. And, it looks like the team is absolutely lost out there.

This season and the next will be Whiz's true legacy as a coach - can he build this team back up again after losing so many starters, including the venerable Kurt Warner, or will we go back (some would say we're already there) to being the Same Old Cardinals?

It's going to take a couple of seasons and a couple of coaching changes to get this thing right.

We need to find the QB of the future, we need to find some legit pass rushers, and we need to do something about this Oline, whether it's coaching or personnel changes...

As fans we need to accept that this isn't a good football team, and accept that we need to rebuild here for a season or two..

I can live with that, as long as Whiz addresses the issues that need to be addressed.. and those are the D-Coord, the mess that is the Oline, and not going back to Anderson.

This team is absolute garbage. They have zero heart, intelligence and discipline. The things Whiz said he was bringing to this team, and the things he wanted from this team do not exist. We are done being competitive.

I haven't had this little hope for the future since 2003. We are in deep trouble in all facets of the game

Yeah, we're only at the quarter-pole, so context is more important than the actual record, still.

Rams fans, for example, are absolutely giddy about 2-2 because in the context of the past five years 2-2 is awesome.

After a quarter of the season has been played, who here thinks that the Rams will end up being the best of our division at the end of the year? Is Bradford something else, or what?

He's good. He'll get better. Our offensive coordinator, on the other hand, will prevent us from winning as many games as we might.

At this point, I wouldn't put anybody's chances in this division at much better than 25%, and I wouldn't be particularly surprised by any winner.
