Cardinals vs Padres
Astros vs Braves

On paper the Cardinals look like the big favorite. St. Louis has not been playing well of late but I can't see them losing to San Diego.

I am pulling for the Astros and hopefully the Braves lack of success in the playoffs continue.

Man, these are not very exciting matchups on paper. Looks like a cakewalk for the Cardinals.

My original prediction was the Cards v Sox, with the Sox winning the WS, but after seeing the way the Cards are playing, it's looking more and more like it will be the Astros v Sox. And I'm not so sure the Sox would take the title from the Astos.

Texas-sized melt-down. LOL. When they said, "And you know who's waiting on deck..." you knew Mr. Pujols was going to knock the ball silly. That thing almost went through the upper deck windows!

I'll still take the White Sox, but atleast there'll be some baseball between now and Saturday, if the score holds up a few more outs.

I hope the Astros can pull game six or seven out because I hate the Cardinals.

I hope they do too. I know a lot of Astros fans from the times I lived in Texas. Saw them play in the dome 8 or 9 times and I lived in College Station when they had that incredible season and series against the Mets in 86. The Astros are a poor man's Cubs, they just find a way to lose in the end.

Cards in 7. They blew their chance I'm afraid.

Hey, Mao. Remind you a little bit of the 1986 ALCS?
I was thinking the exact same thing.

After watching the highlights, it appears the Stros 3B was playing at an acceptable depth although probably a little too much in. Did anyone else think Eckstein was trying to tip off Pujols at 2B in the last at-bat?

Just when I thought the '05 WS was set....BOOOOOM!! Pujols absolutely tattooed that slider from Lidge - - damn Crudinals will probably come back and win this series, and Tony the "Genius" will have another shot at a title!

Rats!

Ha, Ha, take that Astros...

They should have never pitched to Pujols and should have taken their chances with a injured/struggling Reggie Sanders.

I am glad it happend, for now I think STL. will take it all they way to Chicago!!!

Pujols hit that ball out of the stadium, it was great! Go Cardinals...!!!!

Yeah, it really is nice to see these two teams make it. Should be great baseball without all of the overdone hype.
