Matt Leinart will have the new stadium rocking...by playing smart, efficient football. This will instill a new hope in every player and every fan.

Leinart said three very imortant things this week. He said that he has confidence in himself...he said he was ready...and he said that the offensive line will play better. All three will be on display tomorrow.

Adrian Wilson is going to get three timely sacks, one resulting in a fumble.

Antrel Rolle will play his best game as a Cardinal and will make a huge interception.

Edgerrin James will first make a huge mark a receiver out of the backfield and then he will run for two second half TDs.

Larry Johnson will get his yards, but the Chiefs will be like the old Cardinals...they will have to settle for field goals.

The new Cardinals will score three TDs and two field goals.

Score: Cardinals 27 Chiefs 19.

Hilarious, you "chef" fans being so confident is really making me start to think that we are going to win. Keep overlooking....

I'm confident the chiefs will win, yes. But I don't think we will destroy them.
I have no problems with cards fans being confident. Really, you should be with all those weapons you have.
I just think the stats he has come up with are a little far fetched is all. If the cards pull out the win i'll be the first one to post i was wrong and i will congratulate you guys.

I'm not saying we are absolutely going to win. I have enough history to look back on to realize you can never guess how this team will come out - and a lot more often than not it will be bad. We should have won the St. Louis game but our QB must have owed the Rams ownership because that win jump started that season. Other than that we got beat up by potentially the two best teams in the NFC on the road.

You guys were a complete enigma with no discernable strengh until you dismanteled a young 49er team that essentially loses as soon as they walk into a hostile environment like Arrowhead.

IMO we have far superior talent than you and Herman Edwards maybe to the Chiefs the 2004 version of Denny Green for us. A great motivating respected coach with NO actual X's and O's track record and with a complete inability to adjust in game (or wait is that 2006 Denny too?)

And i said previously we are pretty underrated as a team at home as the past two seasons we have either been in or won almost every game. We are no juggernaut or anything but i think the team comes in rejuvinated after last weeks embarrassment and the draft pick of "divine intervention" protects the ball well enough to ignite a win. And our defense is better than you think.

Like i keep saying 28 - 21 Cardinals. Possibly on a last minute drive for Matt ala Plummer in his intial action against Philly so many years ago.

Ever think about that Cardinal fans? The only time we actually had a mediocre guy under center we were a playoff team. If Matt's as good as i think he is - it can make a world of difference in today's NFL.

But we are realists to Chiefs fans. Its entirely possible they come out and embarass themselves. It's not like we havn't seen it before.

Thats a very interesting point. I would like to point out a couple things I just found out today.

#1 There will be 10,000 Chiefs fans at the game. In my opinion, thats a good thing.

#2 Is it true that in the last 100 Cardinal games you have only had 6 or 7 100 yard rushers? When the Chiefs keep the other teams starting running back to under 100 yards we are undefeated.

You have very valid points. But understand that I'm basing my prediction of the chiefs performance off of all of their games this season, not just the 49ers. I think all chiefs fans understand that destroying the 49ers isn't exactly a gigantic feat.

And the "our defense is better than you think" comment. You are absolutely right. Honestly, I don't know that much about the cardinals defense. They really don't get that much attention, good or bad.

Either way, I hope it's a good game and that there are no injuries on either side.

What makes you think that? The Rams didn't have that many and they always packed Sun Devil.

Not as easy as it used to be to get tickets and with Leinart starting the Cardinal fans will be keeping their seats.

The only thing that matters in this game is that the Cards usually win a game at home where they are the underdog just when everyone has given them up for dead. This could be the game.

The NFL does not want the Cards to go to 1-4 with the new stadium and a Monday night game next week.

So just like I predicted that the Cards were the NFL's payback to Atlanta for playing the first game back in the Superdome and so the Cards would get hammered by the Falcons, I'm going with the NFL hyping the Monday night game against Chicago with Leinart coming off a win in his first start.

Cards 19
Chiefs 16

So the game is fixed?

I hope the NFL wants Leinart to be their next poster boy. My annual Super Bowl futures' bet might finally pay off.

Green Bay is awful. Green Bay has a monday night game coming up. Suddenly Brett is the Farve of old and GB beats Detroit. GB goes right back to being Green Bay as soon as they start the Monday Night game.

Atlanta has to go to New Orleans on Monday Night for first game in Super Dome since Katrina. Atlanta amazingly has a home game against the Cards next on the schedule. Falcons clobber Cards.

ESPN has more clout in sports than just about anyone.

They only do it to keep the fans of the really awful teams from totally killing ratings early in the season. The Cards of course have not had any fans or Monday Night Games so the NFL simply used them to help other teams.
You know, the "get well" game the Cards always seemed to provide.

Wow. Did someone actually say the Cardinals are more talented than the Chiefs?

Not really. The only place you are more talented than us on offense is at wide receiver.

Larry Johnson has had one good season, I'll take Edge all day. I'll take Leinart all day over your dead QB. You have the edge in TE and OL (wont last long with Roaf gone), thats it.

That's ridiculous. James is on the decline. Larry is just now entering his prime.

Your right, that is ridiculous. Edge is a whopping 1 year older then LJ. There's a HUGE difference between a RB being on the decline and a RB running behind a **** OL. In fact, LJ is getting a taste of that this season. We'll sign some OL this offseason and you'll eat crow. Your more talented RB was riding the pine while our less talented RB was racking up Pro Bowl after Pro Bowl. So again, if your asking who's more talented...... I'll take EDGE ALL DAY.

James is on the decline because he has taken a pounding. I didn't say anything about age.

Once again, your right. He took vicious poundings while in Indy. Those winters really get to you people in Americas Wasteland

He has 2,276 career carries. That's a career for most running backs.

Did someone tell that to Emmit Smith, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, or Tony Dorsett that when they had 2,200 carries? No, they continued to excell and moved thier way up the record lists. If you were going to ask, yes, Edge does belong on that list. He played in an extremely RB friendly offense in Indy and is very healthy. He has plenty of years left and productive ones at that. He is in his PRIME.

Again, come with something better..... Your wasting our time. GoChiefs wasn't kiiding when he said your board was boring..... And yes, he has only had one good season. I wish him good luck throughout the rest of his career without Roaf. Kyle Turley is awesome though..... Just like Big
