I don’t remember every detail about this series except for Mike Dunleavy putting in rookie Daniel Ewing to guard Raja down 3. Bell gets a corner 3 and drains it. Suns win in double OT. After some more digging...

- Suns win all odd numbered games (Clipps even)

- Suns were outscored in the series but still won

- Raja Bell hit 24/47 three’s (51%)

- Marion averaged nearly 26/13/2/2 on 59% shooting and had 36/20 in the pivotal game 5

- Diaw averaged 6 assists which was more than anyone for LA

- Nash’s numbers were just solid for the series but went for 29/11 on 69% shooting in game 7

- Elton Brand was the best player in the series. Averaged over 31/10/4.

Things I remember about this series.
Livingston broke Nash's ankles in one game.
Nash hit some big shots in game 1
Lol at Sam Cassell costing the Clippers a win the series with his brain fart.

What I remember most was that epic Game 5 double OT game... Nash SERIOUSLY ailing through six games... being at Game 6 with Ouchie where we watched on incredulously as Clipper fans pointed at Laker banners to talk trash to us and then Nash starting Game 7 off with a 3 ball and then he ripped them a new butthole, finally looking fresh and destroying them by 30.

I loved that team... maybe more than any other since 1993.

Easily DA’s best coaching job and if KT and Raja were healthy, I think they beat that Mavs team to play Miami in the Finals. Who wins there I don’t know because I.T was when Wade was superhuman AND got EVERY call, but I would have believed we were going to win until someone killed us.

That was a huge issue. The problem is they never got more than one day off in a row because the first and second rounds went 7 and only got one day of rest before Dallas. Then Raja got hurt and missed the final 3 games. They were tired and banged up.
