Im willing to bet anyone here Serbia is ahead of Ghana after group play.

Ghana midfielder Michael Essien fears he might miss the World Cup because of a knee injury.

Ghana's top player injured a hamstring while playing for Chelsea against APOEL Nicosia in the European Champions League on Dec. 8.

He returned to play the second half for Ghana against Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations on Jan. 15, then injured his right knee two days later during training. He had hoped to return to action for Chelsea before the Premier League season ends next month but has had setbacks in his rehabilitation.

"To be honest, it is possible my season for Chelsea may be over," Essien said Wednesday on his website. "It is still down to the medical team but it looks more unlikely that I will play for Chelsea again this season."

They didn't win the voting on here :(
Neither did England. USA were the top vote in group C.

I really don't see the point of doing all this so early. Discussion is great but I imagine I will change my mind on who gets through the groups as we get nearer June 11th.

England wasn't on the thread cuz i had messed it up, but despite the USA homerism on this board, surely they wouldn't pick them over England.... right?

Why not? If US wins the first game then they could certainly top the group.
