The annual traveshamockery known as All Star voting is underway and Goldy is in 3rd behind Votto and Brandon Belt in the NL voting for 1st basemen. Brandon "freaking" Belt!? Dback Nation needs to make a strong run and get our kids name out there. He deserves to be voted in and starting versus Chris Davis, the two best in the big leagues right now.

It ticks me off as well that Parra is not even on the ballot? Vote early and often!

I haven't watched this thing for years . The whole concept, from picking team members to deciding WS home field is insulting, and gives us a game sans some of the very best players. Sorry.... I'd rather play sodoku than urinate away 2 1/2 hours on this mess.

I don't really have a problem with the World Series home field being tied to this game (other than it was an absurd over-reaction to a non-issue) but I think the fan voting is a joke. If they really want the game to have the best players or even the most popular players, it should be done by a professional committee not by ballot stuffing. I don't think I can urinate for 2 1/2 hours but I'm with you, Sudoku would be more entertaining.

I was talking to some Giants' fans and they said it is the DBacks' fans fault that Goldy is 3rd because we are too lazy to vote for him. I could not believe they were trying to justify Brandon Belt over Goldy. I told them if the rest of the nation would vote for the best first baseman, he and Votto would be at the top. I hate the fan voting and this is a perfect example. p.s. 2 1/2 hours?

Corbin needs to start the game, but likely won't because that Mets kid is having a good season and the game will be in his park.

Goldy needs to be on this team and I think he will be. If he isn't as 1B, then they will send him as DH.
