Watching Adams play and keeping in mind that he and Len were from the same draft, you really get an idea for how much "motor" matters when scouting the draft. Adams is a little bigger, Len moves a little smoother and has (occasionally) displayed touch that Adams does not have, but Len's motor coming out of college was a huge question mark, he was invisible often during his college career and that has been his MO in the NBA too. Adams... he is NEVER invisible, that guy is making an impact all over the court. He plays with an energy that cannot be taught.

The officiating in this game is so pro OKC. They are just holding Curry

Kevin Durant singlehandedly gave the game to GS. He played one of the worst games of his career when his team needed him the most.

I love watching Westbrook play, he's got to be one of the top 3 players in the league. Durant played awful in this last game, for sure, and I'm wondering now if they can't beat GS in 7 what will happen with those 2. I think they may need to be split up, similar to Lillard & Aldridge. I think Westbrook could be the #1 player on a contender while I'm not sure if Durant can be anymore.

It somewhat worked to the Warriors advantage in the 4th. OKC played over 6 minutes without being called for a foul, the Warriors were over the limit. There was a stretch there where the Warriors just basically said screw it we're taking a 3 every time down. They were hitting 3's and OKC kept going 1-2 from the line so the Warriors caught up. Then at the end OKC had to foul on purpose but they weren't in the bonus so they had to foul again.

I will say this, it's amazing how the refs felt like they had to take charge of the game in the 2nd half. That's because they didn't call anything in the first half so the players took advantage of it

He played poorly yes but singlehandedly? I love Westbrook but by my count he was 1-9 in the 4th quarter wtih 5 turnovers, 4 of them in the last 1:39 of the game. And he was guarding Thompson much of that 4th quarter when Klay went nuts.

I thought he was brilliant for 3 and terrible in the 4th. He and Durant were way too selfish, 38 missed shots combined, the rest of the team only took 32 shots.

I would add Durant was -6 in 45 minutes, Westbrook -11 in 44 minutes. That 4th quarter was just all about the Warriors just saying we're going to shoot 3's and win or lose on them the took 44 threes and it seemed like at least 15 of those were in the 4th maybe more.

I expected to lose going in but at halftime I was pretty sure we're going to game 7. To only be down 5 with all those turnovers, bad rebounding and missing Ft's, just 9 3's kept them in the game. You just knew they'd play better in the 2nd half. Took them until the last 5 minutes but they pulled it out.

game 7 should be epic

WOW. The Splash Brothers are insane.

Up 7 with 5 minutes left to go the Finals and you lose? This series is over but I'm stoked for a Game 7 anyway.

Some of those shots were unreal. The quick half turn 3 by Curry was amazing but then Klay hit an even tougher turn and fire 25 footer over I think Ibaka.

That's what makes them so dangerous they can hit so many 3's and from so deep.

OKC had I think 5 turnovers at the half and finished with 15 and I think 8 of those in the 2nd half were in the 4th quarter.

I admit I didn't watch the first half nearly as closely as the second half, but IMO the second half the calls and especially the no calls favored GS. Overall the officiating in this playoffs has just been wildly inconsistent and this game was one of the worst I've seen yet. There were multiple occasions where players had their arms grabbed while going up for shots and no whistle. Then they would blow the whistle when there was zero contact.

I just hate that it seems like we are headed back to the referees swallowing their whistles during the playoffs. Just call it like the regular season. I know they don't want to slow the game down, but it actually opens up the game and makes it much better when they are calling fouls. And if I have to listen to Mark Jackson , Reggie Miller, or JVG comment about how something is just "good playoff defense" or some nonsense like that when they replay in slow most somebody getting hammered I'm going to lose it.

I'm biased of course but the refs didn't call a single foul on OKC the first 6 + minutes of the 4th quarter. OKC was in the bonus before they'd been called for a single foul at the other end.

The fouls ended up 25 on the warriors and 22 on OKC. At least 5 of those 22 fouls by OKC were intentional either fouling Bogut early or intentional fouls at the end of the game.

This game was hard because the refs called literally nothing in the first half and then as the announcers said decided they needed to take control and started calling fouls in the 2nd half that weren't fouls in the first.

They completely lost it there when Speights got shoved and tripped down with no call and he retaliated and Kerr had to pull him out to calm him down. I'm a big Speights fan but he was awful tonight, -7 in only 6 minutes. Also Livingston had a bad game, sure glad Iggy played so well because he was the only bench guy who really did much.

That was one of the best games I have seen in a LONG time. GSW were just unbelievable with those shots. Durant's shot selection was so bad. Westbrook has been amazing.

Cleveland almost had HCA for the Finals. Now GS will be sleeping in their beds for another week. Curry should be fully "back" by game 1.

Warriors in seven.

I think it was more an example of how special Golden State is more than OKC choking. I don't think they did choke. Durant and Westbrook are gunners, it's what they do and pretty much every team in the NBA would fall over themselves to get either one of them. A couple of more makes by each, then everyone is extolling their playoff run and questioning whether Golden State is really that great after all.

I hope game 7 is as close and as entertaining as this one. Regardless of who wins, the Finals are going to be fantastic.

Barkley said it best - OKC forgot why they beat the Spurs and why they were up 3-1 vs GS... They stopped believing and trusting each other - or, Durant did anyway. Westbrook played great last night but Durant choked...no other way to say it...
And of course, Klay Thompson won that game all on his own last night. If he was even half-human last night, the Warriors lose and would be on a golf course on Monday.

Durant put OKC in jeopardy of losing but Westbrook made sure they did with 4 bad turnovers in the last 1:39. I'm sure he feels awful right now.

I'm greedy. On that incredible 3 by Klay off the pick by Bogut how in the world did they not call Waiters for a foul? He tried to jump over the screen and literally landed on top of Bogut's shoulder. It should have been basket good foul on Waiters.

Never understand how calls like that get missed heliterally landed on the player.

I thought the difference was the Thunder's terrible offensive execution in the last six minutes. They either got crappy shots or threw the ball away. If not for second-chance points, they would have lost by double digits.

Both Durant and Westbrook commit too many turnovers, but they feel different. Westbrook's come from pressing and Durant's come from not paying attention. I don't know which is easier to correct.

Last night, Klay Thompson passed Danny Green, Peja Stojakovic, Kyle Korver and Bruce Bowen in playoff threes made.

Now 22nd all-time.

One of the most astute analyses I've ever heard from Barkley. Donovan said pretty much the same thing in his postgame interview: (paraphrasing) We got away from the way we've been playing the last six or seven weeks - we didn't execute our offense the way we have been.

I think we can look forward to a magnificent seventh game - GSW have the home court and I think that will probably give them a slight edge but if they need a repeat performance from Klay, they're in deep kaka.

I'm so impressed with the job Donovan has done - I didn't give them a prayer of making the WCF and they made it look easy

I agree. IMO they have the most talented roster, top to bottom, that we've seen in many years. Until recently they've never played to that potential and for 75% of this season the players seemed to pay lip-service to what Donovan was trying to get them to do (like the Bulls did for the entire season for their new coach). Had the Thunder played like this all season we'd have had two teams with 70+ wins. Because of Curry I'd still give a slight neutral court edge to the Warriors when both teams are at their best but I'm not convinced Curry is quite back to full steam.
