There is an insider article on the front of ESPN discussing how strong the 2017 NBA draft class is. The class is so strong, that they mentioned Simmons and Ingram would be the only players to crack the top 10 if they were drafted in 2017.

Before reading this, I started to feel as if the Suns have enough young talent to now move forward and not focusing on 'tanking'. After reading this, I am back on the thought that the Suns need to get rid of Knight, Bledsoe, and Tyson for the best possible future draft picks they can get in return. In the mean time, give DBooks, Len, Chriss, Bender, and Ullis all the PT next season. I think we can all agree it is more entertaining to watch the young guys as opposed to watching veterans fight for an 8th seed that leaves us in a wasteland.

Thoughts on next years draft and whether or not Suns should position themseves for it?

I'm not so sure that this draft class will be that strong.

The incoming freshman class seems to be fine but it is always hard to predict how highschoolers will make the transition to NCAA.

Harry Giles seems a future superstar but he already had torn ACL's in both his knees.

The returning players are not so strong which is proven by the fact that the best returning prospect is Ivan Rabb whose withdrawal from this year's draft was logical and predictable.

YOu never really know for sure. This next college season could change opinions. I remember when Shabaz and Noel were going to be the next big things. . .
