Two players who the Sixers had been linked with ahead of Thursday afternoon's trade deadline are likely staying put, according to reports. Pistons point guard Derrick Rose will stay with Detroit "barring an unforeseen offer," per Yahoo Sports' Vince Goodwill. Yahoo's Chris Haynes had reported that the Sixers were interested in trading for Rose, the youngest MVP in NBA history. Now 31 years old, Rose has averaged 18.5 points and 5.8 assists this season.
