Since we are hosting two preseason games, we get the away game.

Next year my guess is we host 1 preseason game while we get the extra home game

I thought the 17th game could be a neutral location international game when it was announced.

How is it unfair to any team? Do you think the NFC representative in the Super Bowl will have a disadvantage vs. the AFC representative, having played an additional game on the road during the regular season?!

Competing with teams that have the same number of home and away games as you? I still don't see the issue. The entire NFC has 9 road games/8 home games, and the entire AFC has 9 home games/8 road games.
