The 76ers and Joel Embiid are consulting doctors and considering alternative options on his injured knee, sources tell ESPN. Sides have hoped for progress in Embiid’s body, but his efforts to play and current treatments, including injections, have not provided any improvement.
This is the only guy I think would have truly helped us IF we could replace him with Beal. BOTH of which I know won't happen. The point is, we need a Leader on the Suns, someone both Booker and KD would listen to. I am not sure that would have been Jimmy Butler. I could see Lebron being that one person who could fill that role. What LeBron is doing at his age is ludicrous.

I think they played much better as a team when they beat the Nuggets. This game was clearly all about Doncic beating the Mavs. They forced stuff to him all game. Great thing about Luka is how he shares the ball (great at assists).luka with the triple double against dallas - really wanted to win that game
The good news, if the Suns are in the second tax apron, they can't trade for him because they can't aggregate salaries.
Embiid makes more than any one Suns player.
That's clearly not true. He played within the system at GS and they reaped the rewards from his play. He's not a rah rah leadership guy. He plays for the love of the game. He isn't a driven guy like Michael Jordan. We don't really have any type A guys like that on the Suns.KD listens to no one.

ESPN has named Richard Jefferson to their top broadcast team alongside Mike Breen and Doris Burke.Jefferson will now call the NBA Finals annually as well.
"and the youth shall lead us" - all these teams (especially okc) with rosters averaging like 25 years of age - if these teams can keep their nucleus together (like we didn't) while continuing to draft (like we didn't) - they're the future of the nba with all the new restrictions aprons and ish - these young teams are competing with and beating the typical star studded squads that had their way back in the dayEvan Sidery

The Pistons have 33 wins this season, including eight in a row for the first time since 2007-08.In the previous two seasons combined, Detroit totaled 31 wins.
It has morphed! And swarming the guy with the ball and fouling repeatably is now accepted practice. I distinctly remember a sequence in Grizz game where defender clung to KD bringing the ball up court. Fouling many, many times, finally at end of it, KD (thru frustration) gives a slight push, defender goes theatrically flying, and it's a charge on KD. Very soon after that, Book gets shouldered into, while defending, goes flying, and it's a foul on Book. Un-freaking-believable. Coach should have gotten 2 technicals on that in pure anger and been escorted to locker room."and the youth shall lead us" - all these teams (especially okc) with rosters averaging like 25 years of age - if these teams can keep their nucleus together (like we didn't) while continuing to draft (like we didn't) - they're the future of the nba with all the new restrictions aprons and ish - these young teams are competing with and beating the typical star studded squads that had their way back in the day
the game is changing - the run and gun has morphed into something new - defense more aggressive - becoming more of a group hunt to retrieve the basketball instead of merely defending - so much anticipation
my guess is the league was tired of being called soft - and it's better to whine about a foul being called on you than you being fouledIt has morphed! That's fine, but make it consistent. It's been true for just about forever that teams that are ultra aggressive on defense tend to get away with a lot more contact that teams that aren't. Unfortunately, the Suns have never been mistaken as a team that's been aggressive on defense so they've never had that benefit.my guess is the league was tired of being called soft - and it's better to whine about a foul being called on you than you being fouled
He should just retire.I think Pop has coached his last game. Hadn't realized he's been this far removed from the team. Obviously he wasn't coaching but to just now be seeing them all? Feel for the man.
