When a guy is drafted with major injury concerns relied to durability and his rookie season is stunted by durability issues, yes, major injury questions. But you do you if you want to ignore it.
Wilson might end up being a gamble that doesn't pay off. I'm perfectly comfortable with the Cardinals taking that gamble at the end of the third round.

There is not evidence of them not being bad?
Murray didn't play well ok, but when I see the high angle camera I rarely see the wide receivers open

Brown has a thousand yard season and was on pace for another before injury last year. And he's barely on track for 600 with the QB play we have.

Sure. And I don't have a problem with the team counting on him to be, say, a #4. In the end--even though I had durability questions about the pick when it happened--it's not the end of the world if injuries preclude him from being a big contributor.

All his injuries have been impact injuries that could happen to anyone. Not muscle or ligament injuries that would suggest conditioning or biological concerns.

I don’t think Cooper has near the athleticism that pre-ACL Tyrann had.
i think whatever he gives up in athleticism -- which isnt much -- he gets back in size

same kind of innate football instincts and ball skills tho

and: in base he probably plays safety but in nickel will be a CB

You don't know that. His senior-season injury was undisclosed.

He's spoken about it.

In 2020 he had a Jones fracture in his foot that made him miss the end of the season. He was medically cleared in the summer and 2 days after he started training on it the injury re-occurred causing him to miss the start of 2021. Personally I look at that as a single injury improperly cared for.

In 2022 against ND he was tackled after a catch and landed on his shoulder causing his collar bone to crack. I imagine something similar happened recently without the fracture where he landed heavily on his shoulder and banged it up.

More is being made of it than it is.

lol You just mentioned multiple injuries to a single body part but, nah, nothing to see here.

I think he's a stud. Will probably be a pro bowl safety. The problem for us is he will go too high to justify picking him while we have Budda and Thompson, unless he could play outside CB...which I'm skeptical about. If we end up trading Budda and DeJean somehow lasts to pick 34...I would love to have him

Im not sure why Sam Howell is a lock to remain the starter in Washington. I can see them being the team to trade up with the Bears for Caleb.
I’ve been seeing less & less people confident he’ll be the starter for Washington come next season. They might be the team that nabs Jayden.

i get the angst about Michael Wilson -- but its also what the third round and later is about in the draft: taking players that have one or more questions about their ability to play in the league

for example - one of the factors that caused DK Metcalf to last until the end the 2nd was that he was injured two of the three seasons he was at Ole Miss.

Last I watched, football is an impact sport.

Yeah… I don’t get the “freak impact injury” excuse. Every one on the field is getting hit with high impact all the time. Unfortunately, some player’s bodies aren’t built for it, for whatever reason which is why they have so many “freak” injuries compared to others.
