The New York Giants have addressed several pressing needs in free agency and will continue along that path in the 2025 NFL draft. However, once they get into later rounds, general manager Joe Schoen may take a flier on a running back to help fill out depth at the position.

In every Giants Wire mock draft to date, we've selected a running back and continue to anticipate the Giants doing the same. Now, rumors are beginning to circulate that support that theory.

Packers insider Easton Butler notes that the Giants were among several teams to meet with running back Sone Ntoh at the Monmouth Pro Day on March 11.

The 5-foot-11, 235-pound Ntoh transferred from Harvard to Monmouth before the 2023 season. He served as a backup to Jaden Shirden that season and as a backup to Rodney Nelson in 2024 but was consistently productive each year.

Last season, Ntoh gained 487 yards on the ground and scored a team-leading 26 touchdowns (25 rushing, one receiving) while averaging 4.5 yards per carry. That came on the heels of a 2023 campaign when he rushed for 411 yards and scored 14 touchdowns, averaging 7.3 yards per carry.

Ntoh is likely a late Day 3 pick or priority undrafted free agent come April but after meeting with the Giants, his name is one you should store in the back of your mind.
