The New Orleans Saints are shifting gears to preparing for the 2025 NFL draft, as they begin to take a look around the college landscape and attend pro days around the nation. With their heavy presence during the Senior Bowl as well as the NFL Scouting Combine, they have been keeping their eyes on the prospects in this year's class. Now they're in the final stretch before the draft begins in late April.

Their next stop on the map was the recent Georgia Bulldogs pro day, where head coach Kellen Moore was spotted by D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He also noted that all 32 NFL teams were represented at the event, including multiple other major names such as Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, his Miami Dolphins counterpart Mike McDaniel, and Dolphins general manager Chris Grier.

When it comes to prospects the Saints could be taking a look at, the list is quite extensive, including Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, Malaki Starks, or maybe they liked what they saw from Chaz Chambliss. Chambliss, a 22-year-old linebacker who picked up his production in his senior year, impressed many people with 30 reps on the bench press during the event.

The Saints would unfortunately not get a look at Walker due to a quad injury he is recovering from, however in mid-April, he will be hosting a private workout alongside Williams, so that will be the real indication of whether or not the Saints are interested.

Williams did end up participating in the 40-yard dash at the pro day, running a 4.74 second time, which is rather impressive given his size. He did not participate in the on-field workout at the combine, so it was interesting to gauge his speed in this specific event.

Malaki Starks also would not participate, seemingly content with his times and reps at the combine as well, but he did perform in some reps just to show off his fluidity for the scouts in attendance. It seems coaches were impressed with these plays, so that is a positive sign for his stock as he looks to improve his stock even further.

It will be very interesting to see if the Saints select any of the prospects who ended up showcasing their talents at this event, and if so, who they choose from the bunch to be their only Georgia player on the roster as of this moment.
