The Los Angeles Rams have eight picks in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft and a few needs they could address at various times in the draft. The No. 26 pick is a prime position to move up or down if the Rams want to be more targeted with their approach.

NFL.com draft analyst Chad Reuter unveiled his final seven-round mock draft with less a week before the actual draft kicks off. In it, he had the Rams making a bold trade back in the first round to pick up a second-round pick.

Round 1: Rams trade back to No. 32, take Missouri WR Luther Burden

The Rams move back six spots with the Philadelphia Eagles here after trading the Nos. 26 and 90 for Nos. 32 and 64. This maintains a first-round pick for the Rams but also alllows them to move into the end end of the second round.

Here, L.A. takes Missouri wideout Luther Burden to round out their receiver corps. Burden was highly productive early in his college career but fell off a bit in 2024. His route tree aligns favorably with the Rams' offense, which could be a good sign if he is added to the roster.

Round 2: Rams take Oregon TE Terrance Ferguson with the No. 64 pick

L.A. uses its second-round pick on another offensive weapon, this time adding another tight end to the group.

Ferguson is a big-bodied player at 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds who caught 134 receptions for 1,537 and 16 touchdowns in 53 career games for the Ducks. He would be the heir apparent to Tyler Higbee's role and give the Rams another pass-catching option to develop.

Round 3, Pick No. 101: Louisville CB Quincy Riley

The Rams wasted no more time waiting for a cornerback. This is the Rams' biggest need in 2025 after the current unit ranked in the bottom-half of the league in passing yards allowed. Riley is a solid tackler and good ballhawk. He would push the current group for the starting role at some point in 2025.

Round 4, Pick No. 127: Oregon LB Jeffrey Bassa

Inside linebacker is another big need for the Rams and L.A. fills it with this pick. Bassa has the right traits to play the position with the right size (6-foot-1, 232 pounds) and skillset as someone who can tackle and play in coverage.

Round 6, Pick No. 190: Texas EDGE Barryn Sorrell

This pick would provide more depth on the defensive line, particularly on the edge. Sorrell increased his production during all four of his seasons at Texas and finished with 15.5 career sacks and 26 total tackles for a loss.

Round 6, Pick No. 195: Indiana QB Kurtis Rourke

Many have predicted the Rams will take a quarterback in this year's draft, but here they wait until the sixth round to add one of the most accurate passers in college football. Rourke's career completion percentage is 67.0% and he finished the 2024 season with 3,042 yards and 29 touchdowns with just five interceptions.

Round 6, Pick No. 201: Boston College DT Cam Horsley

A team can never have too many defensive linemen, and Horsely is an experienced player with 59 career collegiate games for the Eagles. There wouldn't be much of an expectation for Horsley in Year 1, but he's a solid backup option.

Round 6, Pick No. 202: BYU OT Caleb Etienne

Etienne would be a developmental dart throw to add to the end of the Rams' offensive line depth chart. He's massive at 6-foot-6 and 329 pounds but has some work to do on fundamentals.
