Following another impressive offseason, expectations are high for the Chicago Bears heading into the 2025 season. The Bears started their roster overhaul with the trades for offensive linemen Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson, and they continued to build the trenches in free agency.

Chicago's big free agent moves included center Drew Dalman, defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo and Durham Smythe in the first wave, as well as wide receivers Olamide Zaccheaus and Devin Duvernay in the second wave of signings.

All those moves have jolted the Bears into the top of conversations around the league, which included FanDuel ranking Chicago among the best NFC teams in their "way too early" NFC power rankings.

Given their spot in these early rankings, FanDuel sees the Bears as a playoff team, although they're still behind the Detroit Lions, who have won the division in back-to-back seasons. But it's worth noting the Bears are ahead of their bitter rival Green Bay Packers, as well as the Minnesota Vikings. But none of this matters until Chicago proves themselves on the field.
