And the kids are alright, as youngters Min Woo Lee and Akshay Bhatita sit tied atop the leaderboard at TPC Sawgrass after two rounds at the 2025 Players Championship.
The purse at the Players is $25 million, with $4.5 million going to the winner along with 750 FedEx Cup points. There were 72 players who made the cut, which came in at 1 under.
The list of those not advancing to the weekend is full of big-name players. Those who survived will go out in twosomes and everyone will start on the first tee.

The 12th event on the PGA Tour's 2025 schedule will be carried live on TV by Golf Channel (which you can watch for free on Fubo) for early round coverage this weekend. NBC will pick up live coverage of the third and final rounds. There is streaming on ESPN+ as well as Peacock and the NBC sports app.
