'nough said.

I guess WHiz is a good coach, typically we would be 2-6 outside the division.

Silver lining right?

4-1 at home (10-3 at home under coach Wiz) and at NFC West Crown...close losses at Carolina (8-3) and Washington (7-4)..the Cards are 7-5 with 3 home games left...Coach Wiz is a BIG improvement over years past IMO...Gotta remember where we were 3 years ago..

I doon't like the fact that we could win our division this Sunday by backing in, instead of winning the key game ourselves. We may make the Playoffs but we're no Giants or Steelers when it comes to winning game after game on the road.

Why do people think we would be backing into the division? We are in this position because of what we have done to this point and not because of what we haven't done. It's not our fault that the rest of the division has fallen on hard times, which by the way, we have contributed to.

Backing into the division or the playoffs could only be defined if our season was over and we needed the 49ers to lose. That's backing in. I hope the Bills pound lumps on the 49ers this Sunday and we are crowned NFC West Champs. I will be the first on-line to order my shirt.

Think about it. Clinching the NFC West division by week 13. CLINCHING THE NFC WEST DICISION BY WEEK 13!

If it goes down that way I would like to think our fans would go absoluetly bonkers when the Cards are introduced as the NFC West Champs when we host the Rams next sunday. There are no other fans in this league that deserve it more.

I don't know why anyone should be bagging on Swd on this thread. We're undefeated in an awful division and have an awful record outside of our division. That tells us a hell of a lot about this team.

Our awful record outside the division was against teams with a combined record of 39-16. Thats about a 71% winning pct. and it will probably go up today. It's not like we are losing to the Lions and Raiders. That is a major difference than the past.

Exactly my point. Thanks, Slan. We beat bad teams and we lose to good teams. That is a MAJOR step from the years past where we'd lose to the bad teams, but a HUGE step from where we need to be.

We're progressing and thats what makes me excited about this team. Nobody predicted we'd be a superbowl contender, but all said that the playoffs were within reach. Now that the division is all but clinched, we can safely say that we have come out of the cellar and are a legit playoff team. Lets see what Whiz and Co. do in the offseason
