Hey I was wondering does this sound like a overheating problem with my 360 when I turn my 360 on I get no red lights at all but every disc I put in says disc unreadable and their in mint condition no scratches.... Also it sounds like its trying to read the disc but then a few seconds later it just stops trying :( Does this sound like a overheating issue if so how can I fix it, or does it sound like something else and ill have to call microsoft thanks :)

XBOX had many manufacturing issues and supposedly they have fixed them.

I don't know that I believe them but the did extend the warranty and they have fixed the issues I have experienced. Granted the inconvenience of calling them and getting the unit replaced is a hassle but I don't regret having one.

My first XBOX was replaced for a similar issue. I think the DVD drive was bad.

Most of the issues have been corrected. However, that's why I didn't buy the extended warranty from MS at the outset. I did from the placed I purchased so that basically all I have to do is go in and get a new one right away versus sending it in.

Luckily I have not had to send in either one of my 360's (and one of them is launch system).

Where did you buy it from? I think I want one, but would rather have a deal like you've got (Little to no wait time if it craps out.)

go to a gamestop, eb games, or even best buy. They offer warranties like that.
