The Texas A&M men's basketball team was upset 94-89 in double overtime against the Texas Longhorns in the second round of the SEC Tournament, much to the dismay of Aggies head coach Buzz Williams.

"I wish we got to the paint a little bit more. Our free throw attempts were OK. Both teams got to the bonus early in the second half. I don't have a problem with shooting 3s, but any time we're down and can stop the clock, we want to," Williams recalled Thursday. "I thought our guys did a lot of great things. Credit to Texas for doing great things. I think that's why it's called madness. It's never going to be perfect, but we have to handle it. We didn't play to our recipe in the first half.

"In 2011, the Big East was the best league. During my time in the ACC, it became the best league. I don't think my arrival in the SEC made it the best league. This year is historic. We've played 26 Quad 1 & 2 games."

Texas A&M (22-10) will learn its fate for the NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday, March 16, at 5 p.m. CT. The first round begins Thursday.
